Nutty laddoo

I tried a new instant sweet recipe this weekend and was a big hit with my kid and husband asking for more!

Items needed -

Ravva/Sooji  ( 1 cup)
Nuts - Pistacchio, Almonds, cashews (1 cup mixed)
Brown sugar  (1/4th cup)
Cardamom seeds 1 teaspoon
1/4th cup of warm milk

1)Grind the Brown sugar and cardamom seeds in a small grinder until it turns into a fine brown powder.
2) Grind the nuts into a nutty mixture. this may not be a fine powder but it is fine as long it is in grained state.
3) Microwave the sooji in a plate until it turns golden brown.
4) Now mix all the three - Powdered Sugar & Cardamom, Sooji, and nuts in grainy state.
5) microwave the milk until it is luke warm (like 30 seconds) and pour it into the plate a few drops at a time and try to make it into balls with your hand. Just add a few drops at a time else, the balls can become quite sticky if there is lot of moisture.

The nutty laddoo is ready! A healthy snack for kids with a great dose of protein through nuts and please note that I made this total oil/ghee free! These may be good for just a couple of days and I preserve mine wrapped in a foil and sealed off in an air tight box in the refrigerator.
