DIY Carpet tiles for Basement

The long weekend of July has been well utilised working on the unfinished part/room of the basement that serves as the storage area and sump pump machine room. To give it a nice decent look and keeping it budget friendly at the same time,I opted for the versatile carpet master tiles that are as simple as peel and stick. I needed 5 boxes of the carpet tiles each square tile with a dimension of 24 inches. Bought these at Home Depot. There are a variety of carpet tiles available in different size. There is the option to order from Home depot a big single piece of carpet with peel and stick tape that can be bordered around the carpet for a single pattern. I opted for the carpet tiles due to a variety of patterns. In case a single carpet tile is damaged, that piece alone can be pulled out and replaced with a new one.

I replaced the bulb with a brighter flood bulb, bought heavy duty shelves  again, from Home Depot  after laying out the carpet tiles and Viola! gave it a great nice look!
