The Pink Petal Tea Cake Candle - Bath & Body Works

I have recently started on the Bath and Body works Candles and realized how relaxing and homely it makes my home. I usually have one lit on my kitchen top all the while I am cooking or working in the kitchen.

My latest one is The Pink Petal Tea cake. Released around Mother’s day 2014 ( this is different from the Mother’s day 2014 edition candle that comes with pedestal) as part of the Spring Floral series, true to its name, the candle is a light pink shade. The picture display a bouquet of roses so as its definition provided by BBW. I saved it to light it on Mother’s day for 2 reasons – 1) Honoring Mother’s day my 20 month old son (who also seemed to appreciate sniffing this rose scented candle) and I together will enjoy lighting the candle and throw 2) this smell reminds me so much of the rose essence that my mom used to add a few drops to my glass of milk every summer during my childhood days turning it rosy colored milk and tastes of real rose essence.

The candle smell reminds me so much of the rose milk that I crave to sip on it! Being not a floral person with some strong scents triggering my headaches, I would say that this was my ever first floral candle that still has a strong scent but not as much or as bad to get a headache. The throw was good too. I had it lit for an hour and could smell it in the other rooms too. Unlike the other floral candles that either had a strong scent or was not to my taste, this is a master piece and stands for what it is expected - A perfect bouquet of pink roses delivered fresh to my kitchen for Mother’s day!

  1. I doubt if you ever had cold rose milk in IS Mahal. That would have given your mom's rosy milk a run for its money.
