Moving

With the Fall around the corner, lot of people would considering moving out/in to new homes/apartments. Here is a list of items that should NOT be packed and sent with the movers but should be kept in a separate box handy as it would come useful until or when the movers deliver your boxes and before you get to unpack -

1) 2 pairs of scissors
2) knives
3) paper towels
4) bathroom tissue rolls
5) handsoaps
6) Disposable plates, cups and cutlery
7) blankets
8) Ofcourse, you would also have a few pair of clothes, towels handy packed in your travel bag
9) Medicine kit
10) Trash bags
11) cash - notes and coins
12) The thick brown Packing tape
13) Empty cardboard boxes
14) Disposable gloves
15) phone chargers

Keep pizza phone numbers handy if you would like to treat the movers to a pizza.
Change USPS address appropriately
Make extra copies of  the new home keys




Make sure you have the following services scheduled appropriately -
On Moving out -
Carpet cleaning , Move out cleaning, trash, Disconnect electricity and internet

On Moving In -
Cleaning, Electricity and Internet connections
