Great reads in recent times

The Last Dive : A Father and Son's Fatal descent into the ocean's depths

This is a tragic accident took place in ocean depths as they traverse deep to unravel the mystery of an unidentified submarine. Due to improper handling of pressure depths, they ended up with nitrogen bubbles in their system called as "bents" that could turn out fatal. This book also details on Scuba diving and the dangers the divers are exposed to. As much fun and of a hobby it is, it could be dangerously fatal. This book is to be read in conjunction with "Shadow Divers" which covers the unravelling of this unidentified U-Boat.

Mastermind : The Many faces of the 9/11 Architect, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed

This is a book about the person behind 9/11. The person also known as KSM biography, how 911 was thought about, planned and implemented. Neverthless, a very tragic incident of the times. This book also details the security measures , loop holes in the system etc. After reading the book, I felt the need for the world to be taught to be more human, more patient and tolerant.

The Nazi Officer's wife : How one Jewish woman survived the Holocaust

A Jewish Woman's struggle to survive the holocaust, the pain she felt on leaving her family behind, the kind hearted friends who helped her get false documents, being loved and married to a Nazi officer inspite of him getting to know that she is Jewish well documented. A journey of survival in tough times.

Choker Bali

A great piece of work by Rabindranath Tagore. A heart touching, feels like one of those " the girl next door" stories. After watching a short movie with the same title available in Netflix, I had to read this book which was even better than watching like with any works.
